The world’s first 5D porn cinema closed for good in 2026. This is what the experience was like while it was open. In 2019 the porn cinema made a comeback in Amsterdam with the opening of the world’s first 5D porn cinema — covered by Vice and NL Times. It sat in the heart of the Red Light District at Oudekerksplein (the Old Church Square). The cinema was an experience for all your senses. Inside the theatre you watched an X-rated film in 3D, with sensory effects — water, wind, bubbles, lights and even snow — synced with the on-screen action.
