Get acquainted with Amsterdam’s rich history and the culture of its people during our Amsterdam History Tour. Our experienced and funny local guides will take you on an engrossing cultural walking tour along Amsterdam’s historic canals and through its medieval center. We explain the appearance of the now world famous Dutch tolerance and freedom and how these values lead to Amsterdam’s financial development; turning a small fishing town in a swampy area into the center for globalisation.
You’ll get to see the beautiful canals, Dam Square, the Royal Dutch Palace, the Anne Frank House, Amsterdam’s Stock Exchange, the New & Old Church, window brothels, wonderful old streets, Magna Plaza and much more.
Our guides expound on how these same values still shape the attitudes of the people of Amsterdam. This Amsterdam History Tour is a great way to get to know the city and to see the Amsterdam’s best highlights. Don’t forget to bring a fully charged camera!
