Our Guides

This site is written by a small team of local Amsterdam guides who have led tours through the Red Light District (De Wallen) for years. Everything here comes from first-hand experience — the shows we have seen, the bars we know and the streets we walk — backed by our own photos, interviews and research. The site is published by Toss it Online.

Our guides

Martijn — Martijn has led hundreds of Red Light District and De Wallen tours over the past years and writes most of the guides on this site. His tours and photos also feature on TripAdvisor. He knows the area’s streets, shows and bars first-hand.

Jasper — Jasper guides visitors through Amsterdam’s nightlife and adult-entertainment scene. He has watched the city’s live shows countless times and reviews them — including Moulin Rouge — from first-hand experience.

Daovith — Daovith has guided tours through Amsterdam’s old centre and Red Light District for years, with a sharp eye for the area’s history and hidden corners.

Arthur — Arthur is a longtime Amsterdam guide who knows De Wallen’s streets, bars and stories from years of leading visitors through them.

Mark — Mark has led tours across Amsterdam’s Red Light District and nightlife, sharing the practical, on-the-ground tips only a local guide picks up.
