Amsterdam, known for its beautiful canals, the wonderful parks, the red light district and what not. It’s so pretty and such an amazing city. It’s hard not to fall in love with Amsterdam, really.
But what if Holland’s capital would be part of a great disaster, an apocalypse? How would it be to walk around in Amsterdam then? Would the canals be filled with strange river monsters? Would the Vondelpark be a gathering point for last survivors? What would be left of Amsterdam’s Red Light District? And how could the city even look like?
It’s hard to imagine. We know… That’s why we’ve added some pictures. Voila, this is how Amsterdam could look like after an apocalypse:
And what about the biggest park of Amsterdam? You know, the Vondelpark. Where people normally enjoy their beers, wine and marijuana. The perfect place to get your grill on. The park where couples get married and kiss each other at a romantic little house. With its beautiful tulips and green ring-necked parakeet. The park where hippies use to sleep during the 70’s.
Would it be a dangerous jungle after a great disaster or rather a gathering point for last survivors?
But this is how Amsterdam’s Vondelpark could be like after an apocalypse:
Hopefully we will never have to witness such a tragedy. Hopefully Amsterdam will remain pretty, so that many others will fall in love with it.
And in case when we do to witness an apocalypse in Amsterdam, I’m just hoping there will be enough weed for everyone.
