When the docks were closed in 1984 due to financial ruin, the crane was coming apart from rust. It&#8217;s a super cool, industrial\u00a0site.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>The Most Unique and Sensational Hotel of Europe<\/h4>\n<p>In 2013, a new creative direction\u00a0for the crane was found. Nowadays it consists of a broadcasting TV station and <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/nl\/faralda-crane-amsterdam.html?aid=1155540\" rel=\"noopener\">3 luxurious hotel suites<\/a><\/strong>, one of which is located in the old engine room. That&#8217;s right, this harbor crane is now an exclusive hotel! On the roof of the crane is an outdoor jacuzzi, where\u00a0the stunning view of Amsterdam and the river IJ can be taken in\u00a0whilst relaxing in the hot water. This new and extravagant hotel is rated with a 8.5\/10 on Booking.com and cost approximately 470 euro per room per night.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/nl\/faralda-crane-amsterdam.html?aid=1155540\"><button>I WANT TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL!<\/button><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To realize this project, the derelict crane had to be dismantled and brought to another place for rennovation to meet the high hotel safety requirements. The jump is\u00a0<strong>50 meters<\/strong> (164 feet) high. You&#8217;ll have a free fall of at least<strong> 35\u00a0meters<\/strong>\u00a0(115 feet)! before and during your jump you will have a breathtaking view of\u00a0the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/IJ_(Amsterdam)\" rel=\"noopener\">IJ river<\/a>\u00a0with the beautiful old city behind it.
