This pizzeria in Amsterdam opened its doors in 2013. Restaurant Da Portare Via is located in one of the busiest streets in Amsterdam and next to a bunch of low quality restaurants. Before you continue to read this article there is something we’d like to reveal: Restaurant Da Portare Via is everything but a low quality restaurant! This restaurant really knows how to deal with food!
The pizza’s here are so damn good that you don’t wanna talk while eating. Everybody is familiar with this right? 🙂 It’s that moment, when you get something served which is so tasty, that you don’t wanna talk to others. Well, Da Portare Via is a restaurant where you can experience a moment like that! We’re pretty sure that we’ve had the best pizza’s ever at Da Portare Via.
Fun fact: Restaurant da Portare Via used to be a sex cinema. Nowadays, there is really nothing what reminds this of a sex cinema. I guess thats a good thing. 😉

Da Portara Via has an enormous wood fired oven which can easily been seen through the open kitchen. After ordering a pizza, you can see how everything is freshly made. The personal is very friendly, also. They serve you in an instant and are willing to help you out, when you are having difficulties choosing the right pizza.

Restaurant Da Portare Via also offers those crazy folded pizza’s called “Pizzetta Mezzaluna“. You can choose between five different ones.

This place wasn’t complete without a variety of coffee. Italian coffee is the best! Restaurant Da Pa Portare Via has one of those big, shiny coffee machine as you can you can see on the pic above. They serve Espresso, Doppio, Americano, Cappuccino, Latte, Decaf, Decaf Latte, Macchiato and Latte Macchiato. Prices vary between 2 and 3,50 Euros.
The only thing that could be improved is the lightning. Currently, they have this bright neon-light in the restaurant. Too bright, if you’d ask us.
Anyway, Restaurant Da Portare Via is definitely a place we would recommend! Skip all those nasty looking pizza places, instead go here. Go for quality. Go for the wood fired oven!
